Amanda Fuerte, Trauma Therapist in San Diego

If you’re here, it likely means something inside you is saying: I can’t keep going like this. You’ve done your best to hold it all together—to show up for your job, your partner, your kids—but inside, you’re worn down. Exhausted. And if you're honest, maybe a little scared. You’ve been told therapy could help, but the idea of sharing your story, especially the parts you’ve tried not to think about, can feel overwhelming.

My name is Amanda Fuerte. I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 14 years of experience helping individuals and families move through trauma and toward healing. I became a therapist because I’ve always been passionate about supporting people in living fuller, more connected lives—lives that align with their goals, values, and sense of purpose.

I have a Master’s Degree in Social Work and specialized training and experience in working with multiple types of traumatic experiences. More importantly, I’m someone who will hold space for you with empathy and curiosity.

Searching for a therapist can feel like a second job—especially when you're already exhausted. And even when you find someone who looks like a good fit, you may wonder, Will they actually get me? Will I be safe opening up here?

Those are real and valid concerns.

This is why I offer a free 15-minute consultation. It's a chance for you to get a feel for me, ask questions, and see if we’re a good match—no pressure, no commitment.
